I finally got a baby girl Midas Cichlid and suddenly she was gone. It took me a minute to realize that my rotten baby Jaguar ate her...how depressing! I put them with species that they couldnt eat, but it didnt occur to me that new offspring would have a 1 second life span with those savage little beasts. So I guess that they have to be in an isolated tank to keep this from happening again? (which I dont have available) Will they eat the babies produced from their own species? Or another pred species?
