I finally got to go do Holden’s Home visit with my adopters. He has a very large fan base and following on here for good reason. For newer fans on here, when Holden came in to Lab Rescue LRCP, he was a medical mess, Lab Rescue took care of so many medical issues to give Holden a better life. He got neutered, started Heartworm treatment, had an ear infection, had blood clots and a blood transfusion, had hip displaysia, saw an orthopedist and got him on some great supplements. Sounds like a lot and this where your extra donations and sponsoring our labs help, for extreme medical needs like Holden had. Then went to a very loving and caring active foster home for two months where he did really well was spoiled. Matter of fact, his foster mom has Sweet Sally and I can promise you Linda Deam, I just know that Sally will find a home like Holden. My adopters drove from Central Pennsylvania to an adoption event and it was soo worth the trip. They constantly give me updates and photos which I share. Sorry to ramble, but this boy is extremely near and dear to me, so much so that I have a photo album of his progress. Most importantly, I promised his foster mom who got very attached to him, many, many photos and a promise is a promise to his foster mom and transporter Cyndi Andrews who almost kept him and is in love with him like so many of us are. Huge thanks to Tommie Spain Clare who helped get this boy in to us. I cried happy tears seeing him on top of the world today living the life of Riley. Everyone I’m tagging are totally 100% ok and have given permission. This is what true rescue is about. At one point in his life he was a bomb dog finding bombs on cars. Yes, cool and strange at the same time. He loves people, food, lounging, chilling, dogs, kids and life!
