I finally let the flood gates on the tears go tonight. I cannot - TopicsExpress

I finally let the flood gates on the tears go tonight. I cannot believe that I have attended my last event as a parent of a high school student. I was so proud of myself for holding it together for so many lasts this year. Words cannot express how proud I am to have three of the most amazing kids I have ever known...I know I am biased! Elise Wolff sure has led us on some amazing paths in her 18 years (and several thousand miles on various vehicles). Who would have thought that that little peanut in a tiny leotard at Toledo Turners Gymnastics would grow to be 510 and play volleyball. Or who would have guessed that the little Cheer Starz cheerleader, who was willing to be tossed in the air by a bunch of older girls, would propel her long body over a pole vault bar 106 in the air, and attack hurdles like it was her only skill. She is as beautiful as she is talented, and I am so proud to be her mommy. Thank You goes to Jordan Wolff for keeping us all posted on what the other teams and individuals were capable of, Elise didnt have to worry about the statistics, you took care of that! Thanks also go to Jared Nicholas, for leading the way in sports, she learned so much from your passion and determination, you blazed a remarkable trail for her to follow! The countless coaches, parents, friends and teammates have made this an amazing chapter in our lives. THANK YOU ALL!!! I cannot wait to see what the next chapter brings...
