I finally went to a doctor today to get a prescription for high blood pressure. I have been off of the meds for a long time. Sunday evening I was not feeling well. Heavy feeling chest, pains shooting thru my neck. I got scared and took my blood pressure. It was 226/161. I am pretty sure I was about stroke out or have a heart attack. I told my roomie I wasnt feeling well and could I borrow her blood pressure machine. Thats when I found it was really bad. Thankfully she had blood pressure medicine and gave me some. Then I relaxed and petted my girl, Alex. I was about to quit being stubborn and go to the Emergency Room but it started coming down after taking her meds, chilling with my dogs and drinking a lot of water. But I made a promise to go to the doc and I did. Glad I did. I am just as stubborn about doctors as my Mom and Dad were. I need to stop being so stubborn. Feeling much better today.
