I find it difficult to believe that any human being can be so mean spirited , disrespectful, unkind, ignorant .... The list goes on... To write such comments in regards to the tragedy of these three young lives lost and one fighting for his. Does not every human being deserve respect, love and kindness. I find it equally disturbing that The Guardian would allow and enable a platform for these disgusting thoughtless comments to be presented. In fact I would question the integrity of The Guardian in their accountability about this issue. We talk about bullying today and how we must teach our kids to not only be kind and respectful but to stand up for those that cannot do on their own. So I ask The Guardian is this not a form of the worst kind of bullying? How dare another judge anyone. This act especially in this situation is unacceptable and inhumane. Certainly those that have made such statements will receive their karma. However equally so it is time for those that allow and enable these derogatory and hurtful actions to realize the responsibility they carry and to make better choices. I am sure the rebuttal will be freedom of speech. However have we as a society really lowered ourselves to carry that statement out regardless of its negative impact and very hurtful intention towards others.
