I find it hard to empathize with people who claim to have it so bad, or do nothing but complain. I attribute this to thoughts of those who cant get up in the morning to wash their own face before breakfast or get a glass of water on their own. There are people diagnosed with Cancer every day and have no choice but learn to cope with pain all day long, with no hope in sight. Some of those who are diagnosed dont realize what is happening to them, others worry about loved ones who will be left behind. Maybe selfless is a dangerous state of being, but for those who cant see past the physical pain and suffering their healthy or normal state of being no longer exists. It has been stolen by Cancer, or the process of Aging which almost always entails “dementia” both of which there is no sure cure. Dont take anyone you love for granted, time is precious. Here today, gone tomorrow is real. Treat people the way you would want to be treated. Be kind to one another. If you love someone dearly and havent told them lately don’t wait until tomorrow.............it is not promised to anyone.
