I find it interesting sometimes to Google a star and their net worth. I just found out Payton Manning for instance, has about 160 million, and Gweneth Paltrow comes in just under that, at 140 million. Actually, Id speculated that with football, commercials, and investment income, Payton wouldve been closer to a half-billion. I was surprised. I dont know why exactly I do it, but its fun, and apparently being part of the circuses, of the bread and circuses, pays pretty well these days. Interestingly, a lot of the newly rich tend to be democrats, which is, I suspect, why the generational rich dont much like them. A lot of the newly rich, actually KNOW what having less is like, then they get wildly more than they ever probably imagined theyd have. It brings a certain understanding, a perspective, that those like Bush dont have, a guy who had everything served up to him, peeled, and prepared on a silver platter, to be eating by his silver-spoon.
