I find it interesting that as the nations laws get more and more repugnant to Gods law the Church proclaims more and more that Gods laws dont apply anymore because we are in a New Covenant. I will challenge this doctrine. If we do not follow Gods laws mans laws will quickly seek to replace those laws and those laws will be a rejection of Gods order for planet earth. I find it interesting that Leviticus 26:3-5 says the following, If you keep my laws and are careful to obey my commands, I will send the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees will produce their fruit. Your threshing season will extend until the grape harvest, and your grape harvest will extend until it is time to plant grain again. You will eat your fill and live securely in your land. We reject Gods laws and our land is becoming desolate. We defile the land with the pollution of mans laws and Lev. 18:25. says the following to those that defile the land. [T]he entire land has become defiled [polluted]. That is why I am punishing the people who live there, and the land will soon vomit them out. See also Lev. 18:28 and 20:22. I find it interesting that much of California, Nevada and Southwest are 2 years a way from completely running out of water and millions and millions of people will be forced to vacate those states in the next two years if the rains do not come. I conclude Gods law still applies, indeed it has not passed away!! Lev. 26:19 states that drought will follow if God’s commands are broken.
