I find it interesting that so many are so upset about the reckless challenge that injured Neymar, yet scorn players like Christiano Ronaldo and Arjen Robben. Ronaldo is criticized for being a whiner when he complains of being hacked and kicked without consequence, and Robben is criticized for diving. Yet why does Robben do what he does? Because he knows that he is constantly fouled, and unless he goes down and makes it obvious, he is unlikely to get a call. If you are upset at what happened to Neymar, then be upset at the lack of sanctions handed out by referees for fouls on skilled players. For sure and certain, dont be surprised that someone like Robben figures out how to get the calls he should be getting anyway, and dont be surprised that sometimes a star will be injured.
