I find it interesting the BBC published this article just a few days before Christmas. As a Muslim by faith Im already aware a day will come when religion will disappear. Atheism is on the rise and Im not the least bit surprised. The question is not if religion will disappear, but when will it vanish? A devout Christian or Hindu is also aware the end of religion is inevitable. The Quran, Bible, Vedas have already predicted the downfall of religion, at a time we know as The end of days. Here are a few quotes, you decide if it is all rubbish or truth.. There will come a time for my people when there will remain nothing of the Quran except its outward form and nothing of Islam except its name and they will call themselves by this name even though they are the people furthest from it. - Ibn Babuya, Thawab ul-Amal. A time will come when a man will not care about how he gets things, whether lawful or unlawful.(Bukhari) According to the Quran, on the Last Day the Prophet (saas) will say that his own people will have abandoned the Quran: My Lord, my people treat this Quran as something to be ignored… (Surat al-Furqan: 30) It is also revealed in the hadiths that, during the End Times, the Qurans guidance will be disregarded and people will stray from it. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. - 2 Timothy 3:1-5. Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? - 2 Peter 3:3-4 If someone practices Truth, he is frustrated; prosperity does not come to the home of the sincere. If someone chants the Lords Name, he is scorned. These are the signs of Kali Yuga. - Sri Guru Granth Sahib on page 902. The Dark Age of Kali Yuga is the knife, and the kings are butchers; righteousness has sprouted wings and flown away. In this dark night of falsehood, the moon of Truth is not visible anywhere. I have searched in vain, and I am so confused; in this darkness, I cannot find the path. - Sri Guru Granth Sahib page 145.
