I find it ridiculous that everyone I pissed at the NFL or Baltimore for how it handled the Ray Rice incident. Where is the outrage and protesting of the judge, prosecutor and justice department? Why is he not in jail and on his way to prison? That is the bigger story to me. Since when is it our employers job to dole out justice for things that happen outside of work? This is insanity! I dispize domestic violence but isnt our court system that is suppose to hold people accountable for such actions regardless of if the victim wants to press charges when it is this blatant and irrefutable? Put yourselves in this situation. Do any of you believe that you would not be in route to a prison sentence if the authorities had you on video doing this to your significant other? Again the real crime here is the justice department being derelict in its duties to protect the public from someone who obviously has a problem with controlling his violent impulses. Do any of you realize how much this empowers abusers? We have created a culture through our media and entertainment industry that constantly shows nothing but high octane feuds that glorify people pushing other people buttons to accelerate a situation to the point of a flash fire. There is no excuse for what he did but (Im speaking from my opinion) I think perhaps she didnt want to press charges because she felt she deserved it for antagonizing him which is what we continue see on dumbass reality shows. Again there is no legitimate excuse for his actions but I want to know why the scales of justice are so easily tipped when the defendant has the money to tip the scales. Apparently lady justice can see celebrity through her blindfold.
