I find my rest in God alone. He is the One who saves me. He alone - TopicsExpress

I find my rest in God alone. He is the One who saves me. He alone is my rock. He is the One who saves me. He is like a fort to me. I will always be secure. Psalm 62:1-2 As long as we live in this world there will be troubles. God didn’t promise us a life free from troubles. He promised to lead us through them. He is always with us to be our Rock and Fortress. This new chapter in life with the Lord requires lots of prayer. Don’t pass over God to collect your money, go directly to the Garden of God. As long as we are firmly planted on him, we will have all we need to face any problem that arises. When problems arise, whether they are health, relationship, or substance abuse issues, face them head on with God. Ask him how to go forward in his love, timing and with his heart of compassion. Don’t sweep them under the rug or delay dealing with them. Give them your full attention. Ask God to the lead the way and follow his direction – even if it seems a little whacky or contrary to popular belief. Trust him to know and do what’s best. He is faithful! Concentrate and give thanks for what is right. Every good and perfect gift comes from above. Life is a give and take activity, so calmly release feelings of resistance and climb on board the life train. Release each detail into God’s care through prayer. He knows every need and concern you have. As believers we know this world is not our home. We are more like visitors in an Extended Stay, waiting for our perfect home to be built for us. This new home will be a place where’s there’s no more tears and no more sorrow; the imperfect will disappear and the perfect will appear; and we will live in perfect peace and harmony with God and his people. Jesus is coming again soon to take his people to this perfect new home. You can take a chance and stay here if you want. You don’t have to go there. Personally though, I don’t want to experience the type of death that waits for those who have not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. But if you want to go to this new home, you have to go in through Jesus. It’s the only way. Only what is pure will enter heaven. No one else will be allowed there, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Is your name written in the Lamb’s book of life?
