I find myself frequently pissed off at the Hobbit movies for various reasons, but in the end I feel that Peter Jackson has kept the spirit of Tolkiens work alive more than others have done in the past. But nothing makes me more irritated than the Middle-Earth video games. I am sorry to those I may offend, but; Lego LOTR, the game adaptations of the books and films, and that new Shadows of Mordor game can all go to a special place in Hell. I think bringing Tolkiens Legendarium down to the level of gaming is irreverent and insulting to the fans who regard and respect Middle-Earth as something much more than mere nerd obsession.
