I find something interesting. Lately, Ive seen a lot of calls for cameras to be worn by every police officer (as well as dashcams which are, I think, pretty much universally installed in police vehicles). At first glance, this seems like a very good idea to videographically document police activity. But, I cant help but wonder if a lot of the people who are calling for a camera on every police officer have really thought this through. I suspect most of them would OPPOSE putting a camera on every street corner as an invasion of privacy. And yet, if you have a sufficiently large police force, all of them wearing GoPros, how is that much removed from having cameras everywhere spying on all of us?
