I find that instead of evidence, assumptions are also being used - TopicsExpress

I find that instead of evidence, assumptions are also being used in many cases to make the court doubtful and biased. The case of Sukhranjan Bali, a witness for the Prosecution who is missing, has been reported as an abduction, is a similar case. The fact is that Bali is missing but this fact has been made out as a case of abduction that has not proved yet. In this case I want to mention a similar case which is also a fact. Years ago when Khaledas BNP was in power, a high powered grenade was thrown in a meeting organized by the Awami League. Casualties were heavy. Investigations were made and a man was arrested after a long time who admitted to the guilt. He was named Joj Mia. It was too prompt and nobody believed it. Later it was found that Joj Mia was not guilty at all and he admitted to the guilt because he was paid a large amount of money to do that. This case is still pending, Joj Mia is still in prison and it has become known now that some of the important members of the BNP government were behind it. This story has been written to show that occasionally admissions under oath have been found to be false.
