I find that the concept of exploiting what the most likely counter - TopicsExpress

I find that the concept of exploiting what the most likely counter against specific attacks is the most interesting approach. I have been thinking a lot about how to defeat myself, what would I to be forced to react with a very specific counter, I found 2 fakes that combine 3 extra safety measures, zoning with a counter to an arm cut if I get the distance wrong, and the following safety is that even if I miss the only counter to avoid that I either get a head shot or if I again get the distance wrong again I get an arm cut. One has a setup involving showing a forehead and backhand fast, to create an expectation of what looks like a figure 8 pattern, but use that to force a pattern recognition that suddenly change angle. I had the idea after discovering how to do the magic trick that forces a specific memory of a card, by pausing a fast shuffle for a split second, so the eyes only can register that. I have tested it and after explaining how I use the 2 sequential setups, stating that I will use one of them, it continues to work with no problems. One of them I was able to write how to do it and get a confirmation that it actually works, I have then created an extra failsafe by showing 2 arm cut counters as a framing pattern to provoke a pattern recognition. If you read this Steve do you remember the arching stab to the face that is a fake to cut the lower torso, that only works if it doesnt have a narrow angle, as it forces the arm cut to go far outside the opposite shoulder to intercept it fast, adding a backhand nr 5 high attack and it will counter the next obvious attack. I have now added 2 attacks to create a false expectation to a pattern recognition, that consists of arm cut counters with a zoning footwork as the last extra failsafe.
