I find the Borough of Chambersburgs parking tickets absurd and malicious. I received this ticket in the course of my business last Thursday. I plucked it from my windshield and kept moving only to actually read it today. It states if you pay the fine $5 within 72 hours then your fine is $5. After 72 hours it jumps to $20 and promptly jumps to $40 there after with a stern notice if a citation will be issued in amount greater than that. The only pay option they give is the drive up window at the borough office or some yellow courtesy boxes in an undisclosed location no where near the town that I live in. Im not driving back to Chambersburg to pay a fricken $5 ticket. You will accept my $5 donation and that is all you will be receiving from me.
