I finished 2014 with a trip to the emergency room. Thankfully, nothing serious enough to go berserk over. I hope it was the parting shot of a somewhat unfortunate health year. At least, I had already met my deductible. Thanks to my Sis and The Squeeze for holding me up when my face wanted to get a closer look at the floor. Adversity does spur creative impulses--so I must remember these feelings to use in my art. Remember what their health problems did for Van Gogh and Lindsey Lohan. But I digress. No longer being callipygous, I hoped to not have to be an ecdysiast. No such luck, so I was reminded about how unfashionable hospital gowns are. I was treated very well at the Abbott-Northwestern emergency room where Ive been enough times for the doctor to recognize me as one of her favorite patients. Happy New Year to the people who like me. And to those who dont, you have another year to come to your senses.
