I finished an awesome book today and had to share one of my favorite most profound passages from its pages. Were fighting a war that cant be won with arrests, interrogations and assassinations. Our enemies are ideas, and ideas dont care about incursions and curfews. We cant blow up an idea with a Merkava. You are not our problem [Israelis] (more specifically the Israeli spy group known as the Shin bet) and we (referring to Hamas) are not yours. Were all like rats trapped in a maze. I cant do it anymore. My time is over. -Mosab Hassan Yousef Author of the NY times best seller Son of Hamas The eldest son of a founder of the terrorist group Hamas. Which is an islamic Palestinian extremist terror organization. Mosabs father was a peaceful Muslim who never intended Hamas to become the monster is is today. In this excerpt Mosab is quitting being a spy for the Shin Bet, an Israeli spy organization whom he spied on Hamas for, for ten years of his life. He has renounced Islam and Become a follower of Jesus Christ. Costing him literally everything. He now lives in America where he has been granted political asylum. His family has disowned him. He said he had felt that he had sacrificed nearly a third of his life for nothing, a chasing after the wind, as king Solomon describes it in Ecclesiastes 4:16. Son of Hamas is a must read!
