I finished reading the Jefferson-Bass novel Cut to the Bone last - TopicsExpress

I finished reading the Jefferson-Bass novel Cut to the Bone last night. I read it because a friend loaned it to me, and Im trying to think of something positive to say about it. The story (plot) is okay but the writing is . . . well, kind of on par with Dan Brown. Nothing against the JB team personally. Dr. Bass is a brilliant anthropologist and has probably forgotten more about forensic anthropology than I can ever learn, but that doesnt make him a good writer. For a basis for comparison read a chapter of one of their books and then read a chapter from one of David Morrells books. Or F. Paul Wilson. Or Dean Koontz. Or Stephen King. Or Elmore Leonard. Or Janet Evanovich. You get the idea.
