I finished-up A Death in the Family. I have to say, Im pretty impressed. What a powerful story. I liked the Beirut/Ethiopia segments, taking them out of their element. It was just like Robin to throw himself in front of his mother, to protect her from the blast. I dont tear-up on too many things, but when Batman finds Robin laying there in the debris, thinking theres no point in checking for a pulse...man! Interesting twist, too, with Joker becoming the Iranian Ambassador; the conflict between Batman and Superman. Im thankful for your insightful feedback, but Im glad I chose this volume. Its a story I needed to read...
