I first posted this to my timeline in 2013. I thought it appropriate to remind myself once more about the frailties we will all encounter at some point in our lives. I am leaving for Rochester once more on September 15 for about 6 months. Shes doing GREAT at 90 but with her 91st birthday approaching in December, we want be certain of her safety and overall nourishment and wellness. I have had the luxery of being granted a 6 month leave of absence from my job to make this happen. Hopefully this will prevent the rest of my hardworking family from being spread so thin. This is a priviledge I embrace whole heartedly, and I cannot wait to return for this extended slumber party with mom and of course Keeper is coming too! See you all soon, and be prepared to have a tissue nearby as you read this letter.
