I first started my first company here in Singapore when I was 25 - TopicsExpress

I first started my first company here in Singapore when I was 25 years old. I failed spectacularly 3 years later at the age of 28 and almost became a bankrupt. I was so much in debt and had no money to pay the rent or to buy food. I lost all my friends and was not allowed to leave Singapore back then to even visit my parents Seah Char Bow and Iris Thye. It didn’t help that I came from a poor/broken family. But by the grace of God, I started another company, Digital Scanning Corp (dsc.sg) a few months after my first business failed back in 1993. Today, 20 years later, DSC celebrates its 20th anniversary in business. Today, we are a public listed entity with offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, China and Hong Kong. So looking back, it is nothing short of a miracle where we came from and where we are today. I am so grateful to all our staff, family members and investors who made this journey possible. Thank you.
