I flashed a smile n she said ur dimples are abbyse of gorge. And I bathed her with this poetic line. I can slumb for ur punitive endorsement, u are a germ. After lectures, she was all alone stretch-crossed her legs in dainty elegance as the summer emitted her furious rays. She leaned on a tree, perhaps babbling or speaking to the winds.I walked in unheared and whispered from behind the heavens dare rejoin our paths. And she retorted you! n smiled. I patted her shoulder. I brought out a pack of pizza n two ice creams n sat with her on the grass. I will repay the gods by sharing in pleasure with you . you are so unpredictable. She replied. What does papa find fit to name her? I asked. Jelly She spurted. donSIMONS I returned the favour. What a name! But I laughed. She joined the race, we both laughed loudly and heartily briefly and the rest of the day burned out in gestures and silence and minded wishes or what I will call a deceptive silence. I latter broke the hum in the end of a long lauded ballad, as I told her I had to go. She immediately realised she had to go earlier too but had failed. The streaks of night had laid an obvious mark on the sky, and darkness only stood on tip-toes. She parted I red from the notes written by her countenance yearning for more of me and I quickly understood and said We will always meet again. She retorted yeah! She had so much drama staged on her mind and so much to say, which nature did not allow. For she was so reserved or I should say a person of rare words. So we parted. That night, Fred came into my apartment implored me to join him and other peeps at a club. I sluggishly did. The club was so dull compared to my countrys or maybe I was not just used to the kind of club music the new atmosphere breathed. I sat on a sofa scoffing the impending boredom. And to my bewilderment I heared from behind a familiar vibration. you jerk! I never knew youll be here. She patted my back. I turned to behold Jelly. What are you doing here? wearing my spirit with the irons of nonsense. I answered. Let me return the treat of this afternoon by asking you to dance with me. I said No. My adonis have never frowned the heavens with such a heavy look, one wonders what fire will bake an ice? Was the magic she used to fix me. I flashed a heavy smile and drawled this place is damn boring! She never made an effort with her voice but gave out her hands. I took them and she took me out the environs we walked down a long lighted path in the silence of the night. She clawed her fingers in mine. And then we waited at a point, made our way into the grassy field where we found a tree. She held out my other hand as we stood facing eachother, then she suddenly gave me a kiss I could not restrain and it lasted for a while. Then she said I love you. To me that was a sorrow because I knew I could never return it. She observed my deliquescence and the abnormalty in my composure and asked hope I have unleashed no dragon? I answered, No dragons nor fire. I am only taken. She tearfully said, you never looked like one. Mared by her fruatrations and the mixed hysterias of both dissappointment, oprobity and remorse she ran out of the scenario crying heartily. I tried to catch her, to talk things out, to re-amend the past. But she was so swift, so engrossed with grief. I followed her down the path. But before I could reach her she had already spinned and whined her car off. I did not even have her number, every thing was so sudden.....................
