I followed this while it was developing, and tonight I just wanted to create a post that told the entire story. A fawn was abandoned by its mother on the property of Isobel Springett. I really dont know where this is, and it doesnt really matter. Isobel and her brother Martin rescued the fawn, who they named Pippin. Pippin was immediately adopted by Isobels Great Dane, Kate. Isobel is a photographer, and over the course of the entire experience she took photographs(beautiful), and videos (amazing). Martin codified them into several great photo journals and a wonderful book available online. If you have a few minutes, youll do yourself a lot of good by spending them here. ;-) Kate Adopts Pippin youtube/watch?v=IHsU4CgnpeA Kate Learns That Putting Up With A Little One Can Be Trying youtube/watch?v=fDZJ_Dz7aZs#t=21) Kate and Pippin Are Friends youtube/watch?v=8xU5h1paYQ0 The Relationship Grows youtube/watch?v=cmOMA6CqL68 UPDATE: They Are Still Best Friends youtube/watch?v=yCyOFzWNN_I#t=35 Hope you enjoyed! ;-) You can order the Kate & Pippin photo books, and the story as written by Martin Springett here: bit.ly/pippinkate
