I fondly remember three years ago about this time, shortly after our Occupy St Louis decampment and the vandalism of oru library, when I had a beautiful dream. I was driving an armored personnel carrier through a blinding snowstorm, ferrying the Occupy Wash U students from one protest to another, with perfect vision. I posted my dream on Facebook and took my grocery cart to the Clayton Schnucks, passing right by the Skinker Metrolink station. Three or four police cars waited there, as if to repel an army of Occupation from Formerly Occupied Kiener Plaza, hell bent on mic-checking a Fat Cat Professor, as I recounted in my dream. I did not even have money for Metro fare that day, though I had enough food stamps. I was amused to see at least two squad cars stationed on my way to the grocery store, just parked by the side of the road as if to intimidate. I was the only one walking and I was not even carrying a sign that day. I am so flattered and honored to discover that the Stasi take my dream life so very seriously. Perhaps it was all because I had recently posted this subversive rant: We are a free speech movement, occupying a free speech zone (wherever we are), establishing an open university (wherever we are), practicing direct democracy (wherever we are). Its an experiment, so lets keep experimenting. Lets not be co-opted, lest we lose our credibility as witness for the 99%, to restore consent of the 100%. Attn: Manny Manderson
