I forced myself to clean out my computer room today. OK, Im still working on it. It had gotten a little out of hand. OK, it had gotten a LOT out of hand. I found a package in between a file cabinet and my roll top desk. When I finally got it out (it was thin but heavy) it had never been opened. Mailed on Sept. 29, 2009. It was obviously something purchased from Ebay. I took it to JD and asked him if he knew what it was. He obviously didnt remember any more than I did. He opened it and it was a porcelain Texaco sign. (he collects them) This one isnt old. A reproduction. ?? Neither of us has any idea what was going on when he bought that. Next I attacked a basket. I am pretty sure I have subconsciously avoided that basket for 4 years. I spent some time reading the sweetest notes and cards that were sent to us back in 2009 when we lost little Ashley and JD was diagnosed with cancer. The birthday cards from his 50th birthday party were there too. It reminded me of how thoughtless I was during that time. I am sure that I could not have said thank you to everyone if to anyone! I really think that I just read them, cried and tucked them away. I am so sorry. I apologize to everyone that reached out to us during that time and didnt get any reply!
