I forgot to post yesterday so Day 12: I am thankful for my grandfathers. One taught me how to be a good steward of the land and his knowledge of farming and animal husbandry...he taught that we take care of those (including animals) who cannot take care of themselves. He taught me the value of hard work and how everything has a purpose and a place in this world. And that sometimes the death of something isnt always a bad thing. If it serves a purpose. My other grandfather taught me how to laugh and love whole heartedly. He always had a contagious smile and was no slouch when it came to work either! He taught me that a smile can turn someones whole day around and that family comes first. I am forever grateful for those two men who imparted so much to the families that they left behind.
