I forgot to say before last year ended, what was my personal favorite game of 2014 (Aka personal GOTY). Despite the game only coming out during December it has by far exceeded my expectations and I have probably had the most fun playing this game out of all games I have played this year. My favorite game of 2014 is the game LISA. LISA is an RPG/Adventure game that has a very rich world and atmosphere that compliments unsettling themes and humor and mixes the best of all of them to make a fantastic world. The games author got a lot of inspiration from the Earthbound/Mother franchise and you can see this clearly in the games design and combat system. The game is set in a world where females have up and disappeared for unknown reasons and all that is left in the world is men. This has led the world to somewhat erode and destroy itself as carnage lies around every corner. The world has taken its toll on the men forcing them to survive (sort of like the world of mad max) and it has also made them terribly lonely and sad and above all desperate for love. Every single NPC is different and each have their own individual designs which is impressive and proves that a lot of care and love went into the development for the game. All of the dark humor in this game is golden and what is even better is that the humor mixes in perfectly with the combat and in doing so has spawned one of the most fun combat systems I have ever taken control of! One second you could be pelvic thrusting your enemies and the next second you could be trying to tell a scary story to the enemy in attempt to scare them making their stats decrease. The games story is very dark with things relating to child abuse, drug abuse, the loss of limbs and many others but actually manages to have a very good plot and its possible you will feel a lot of sympathy and you also will experience having a strong bond with your party members more than you will realize despite how silly the game depicts them. The game offers a huge range of characters to recruit as your party members, each with their own unique skills and charming/weird personalities. LISA has a lot of random events that can happen throughout the game as well meaning you will not always have the same experiences as somebody else and the game encourages you to explore its world down to every nook and cranny you can find and the game will still reward you in some way or fun whether good or bad. Any who im about done with writting but there is a lot of things I have left out and for good reason. The game is worth £6.99 but with the amount of content and quality being offered. Im shocked this game isnt worth £14.99 so you really are getting your moneys worth. store.steampowered/app/335670
