I found Brene Brown nearly two years ago thanks to my friend Holly (#tribe) who seemed stunned over coffee one day when she realized I didnt have a clue who BB was?!?! There is a long funny story there, but I wont digress. ;). I have since read all three of BBs books, watched both of her TED talks more than a few times, and quoted her in more than a few of my own talks. On top of which, I recommend her books consistently to others. Lets just say...I am a fan. . All of that to say, that even though I found a lot of deep knowledge and healing with her words as I walked through my own wilderness of radical obedience, spiritual re-awakening/wrestling...I dont know that I ever thought of her faith in all of that. So I really didnt know what to expect when I hit play, but this is amazing...and I so understand her trying to put all of these parameters on finding a church, etc., and Jesus just patiently waiting and earnestly coming for her heart. Her comments on forgiveness...think jaw drop. I believe the stories of how we think we are on one path and God is so in control and has us on another...Surprise!...and our very human struggle with all of that is so beautiful. I love when others share their stories. I love the mix of researcher and wholeheartedness-seeker in her words. It is important to remind ourselves that God is coming after each of our hearts in a very special and unique way just for us. He is the best that way. Beautiful. ❤️☀️ #words
