I found a Wonderful piece in Quora please read :) When a country is involved in a major war, all of their resources get tied up in defense spending. The brightest minds and biggest industries focus on how to exploit the enemy, and how to defend the borders. How does this relate to ones personal life, well-being, and creativity? Its about the theme of drama and negativity. If we stay involved in relationships (whether personal or business) with people who do not want the best for us, and are trying to bring us down in some form or another, the mind and body subconsciously feel like theyre at war. They spend all day allocating their resources towards arguing, thinking about how to defend, and how to counter-attack to defend ones personal sovereignty and well-being. The body feels drained as a result. The mind is capable of amazing things. This internet were using right now was created through the collective power of many minds, stacking their creativity on top of the ideas of many who came before them. But the mind only functions in the manner it was supposed to when it is in a harmonious environment, and doesnt feel immediately threatened. Using the mind primarily to be innovative at defending attacks and counter-attacking others is one of the biggest wastes of human potential. In survival mode, the last things on ones mind are zooming out to see the big picture, creating paradigm shifting ideas, or analyzing our own behavior in a different light in order to lead a happier existence. Conflict is a natural occurrence in life, and boundaries will always need to be set in some form. However, its important to minimize the negativity and ongoing petty drama as much as we can, if we dont want it to consume us. If some person or group doesnt want you to be happy in life, why let them consume your energy all day? Thats essentially like letting them live in your head, free of charge. Its best to learn how to close the book in the best possible way, let go, and distance yourself from the situation both physically and emotionally. Be sure to take the time to heal fully from the trauma, so that your genuine core can continue to shine through the way it was meant to. Get back to focusing on the positive aspects of what really makes you, you. By consciously creating a more open and peaceful space in our lives, we can discover that creativity begins to bloom seemingly without effort.
