I found a dollar on the sidewalk so I bought a scratch-off lottery ticket (thereby compromising my personal ethical code and moral/ideological opposition to the lottery system) and won $5. I proceeded to use that $5 to purchase another scratch-off ticket that turned out to be a losing card. I bring this all up to prove to the world that the lottery, like fluoride in our drinking water and the body scanners at the airport, is a tool used by the government/Monsanto to imprison the masses in a docile slumber of fear and oppression.
