I found flakes of metal in my oil today..... i change it every 1k-1.5k miles cause the car takes abuse and the filter usually every 2-3 changes. Gold flakes imply bearings... but what does silver flakes imply? I got both colors... drained into a 10qt closed tub and ontop before i wiped down there was maybe a dimes worth sitting ontop. Motor doesnt knock yet either lol. Just ticks from valves or injectors havnt looked yet
