I found it suspicious that in this day and age of technology, no cellphone footage of the Michael Brown altercation and shooting had surfaced to shed light on what happened. I suspected this could only be because such footage would show a potentially justified homicide, and that members of the community with an agenda to push might collectively agree not to share any of the footage they shot. As it turns out, a video after the fact did come out, and while the person recording seemed sympathetic to Brown, he couldnt have accounted for the background cross-talk of his neighbors recounting what they saw. In summation: Neighbors saw Michael charge at the officer, and he repeatedly shot and landed 6 rounds in Brown before he finally stopped. If I remember my police training correctly, thats a justified self defense shooting. While I agree there are lots of racial inequalities and injustices in our country and criminal justice system, hoping the truth in an incendiary incident isnt found out isnt the way to push a race-driven agenda. The looting, shooting and assaults protesters have committed on their own police and community isnt a result of some injustice; It is the result of a community intent on behaving like a snake eating its own tail. ijreview/2014/08/168698-eyewitness-recalls-important-detail-background-video-mins-ferguson-shooting/
