I found my picture of Lafaye Maddox and Rosalyn McGlothin and myself at LaFayes Group Obama Ball in 2008! That was a profound moment in my life to be reconnected with two of my classmates at an historical time in our country! Our first Black President and we were all together to celebrate for that moment in time. Look at the joy that exudes from her. I ve always thought about that moment and wanted to reconnect with her...but we were also in different crossroads in our lives. She believed there was going to be a black president. She worked I am sure endless hours to help make this happened. I was proud of her when I attended the Obama Ball with her and saw what her involvement with this group was all about. I will miss you LaFaye. I ve always thought there will be time to see you again. I guess it will be in heaven now. RIP my sister. I love you
