I found out something this morning that absolutely floored me. Ive had tears in my eyes for 2 hours straight.....Im running out of tissues. Did you even have a clue that we have 50 homeless families here in Batavia. Here. In our own town. You know....the nice homes, big cars, successful people........Yah.....that Batavia. 50 homeless families WITH children. Children that sit right next to our own kids in class. They dont have a home to go to at night. Could you imagine not having an address. They live in shelters, dirty motel rooms and broken down automobiles. The children dont have food. They wear the same clothes every day. No school supplies. They sit in the same classrooms as our kids. Yes its true. Did you know that? Thank God for wonderful people like Anne Townsend Watson and Brad AndAmy Nelson who share their kindness and passion in helping the less fortunate. Please LIKE Chip In Batavia and help if you can. What an eye-opening morning it has been. 50 families. With children. No where to go. Teardrops on my keyboard.
