I found out today that Mr. Roman, my music teacher and life mentor, passed away. He taught me EVERYTHING I know about performing. He said ALWAYS look at your audience. Never be afraid to listen to the applause...we spend our lives listening to criticisms but we never listen when we get credit. He made me work so hard...gave me my first solo, my first lead...I would not be singing if it were not for him. He remained friends with me even after I graduated & I spoke to him a few months ago and he was thrilled to know I was getting married. I love you, Mr. Roman. Thanks to the teachers who TRULY CARE about their students.
