I found the most awesome app called manything security camera. You can have your iPad or old iphone double as a nanny cam or security camera. When its connected to wifi you can stream video to your phone anywhere, and it has settings to record when it recognizes motion. Right now its streaming video from my iPad and an old iPhone to my current iPhone. Took maybe 5 minutes to set up. This is better than my random pics off my game camera :).
