I found the perfect choo choo combination to run on our Village Of Cher layout. The locomotives are KATO and are just like my purple locomotives on my Camp Freebird layout. It is a double locomotive set replicating the Chicago And North Western Railroad and the colors are yellow and green. I also found some really kool looking green and yellow excursion cars to run behind the locomotive. Cher asked me to find a green caboose so the whole train will be color coordinated and I found the koolest looking caboose ever and it has both green and yellow colors on it so now our whole train will be all decked out in the same colors...:D I also found out this morning that KATO is coming out with a brand new Amtrak locomotive as well as 16 sets of new Amtrak passenger cars. Each set of Amtrak passenger cars are sold in packs of four. I am really excited about this one and I cant wait til they are available and I can order the entire Amtrak collection. I also have several Canadian locomotives I am going to order as well. Im not going to run any of the Amtrak trains nor will I run the Canadian locomotives either but rather I will put them in display cases and hang them on the wall so I can look at them...:D
