I found this beautiful female Husky on the sidewalk on my way to work, I was already running late for a meeting but I stopped anyways and scanned her, I found the chip way down by her rib cage and called HomeAgain but the chip wasnt registered, they did look up the batch number and gave me the number of the vet that the chip was sold to so I called them but this was at 7:45 in the morning and they didnt open until 9:00 am, so I took the dog home and let my beautiful, understanding and very patient wife Donna know that there is a strange dog crated in our garage and could she please, feed, water and let out for potty breaks and I left for work, I called the vet promptly at 9 and luckily they had the owners information, I called the owner, who was at work and very surprised to hear her dog had been found, she came after work to pick up her baby. The owner was surprised when I told her that the chip was not registered, she said she paid the vet for all her shots and the chip and assumed that they registered for her..... People please spay, neuter and chip your pets but also make sure that the chip is registered and update your information if you move and/or change your number.
