I found this interview fascinating, great to see a convert to Islam building bridges. I do believe that converts can play the important role of mediators and bridge builders between different communities. As I have said many times, our dawah needs to focus on building bridges of understanding, challenging myths and stereotypes rather than pushing for conversion. Ghulam Esposito Haydar has recently said we need to rethink and redefine Dawah in the current age. I do believe that we need to learn from the vision of teachers like Habib Ali Jifri, Shaykh Abdul Hakim Murad, Ustadh Usama Canon, Ustadh Adam Kelwick and many others who are leading the way If anyone knows Idris, please could you put me in touch
