I found this post by Christine Hartweg so interesting, a great example of the different a persons perspective makes when it comes to historical characters. When I wrote about John Dudley from Jane Greys perspective, he was a villain-- he was a villain in her eyes. But Northumberland was very close to his children, and the boy king, Edward VI loved him. In the end, we are all made of facets dark and light-- the difference between hero and villain often depends upon whose eyes one looks through.
