I found this verse tonight and it just jumped out at me in a big way. I have talked to a lot of people who are dealing with chronic disease since our experience and have come to the conclusion that we have become a generation of very little faith. Now, let me clearify that I am in no way trying to judge people for making there choices because that is what they are. Their choices. However when dealing with a chronic disease for which there is no cure you have to ask yourself one thing. Who do you trust? Man or God? It does not mean you go home and pray and ingnore your condition. That is not going to make it go away. If you pray properly and search your heart and look at the science, I believe God will show you the answers on where the road leads. You will however have to be patient it doesnt happen overnight and this is where we fall short (me included). We are a right now kind of people. We want everything solved on our time frame in our manner. Listen to this verse I think it sums it up. Matthew 13:15 For this peoples heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with THEIR HEARTS, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
