I founded the Center for African Affairs and Global Peace, also founded Global Voices for Change Initiative with the vision to contribute towards sustainable and effective formulation and implementation of Africa policy. Addressing the poverty situation in Africa through sustainable means has always been my passion and I have in the pursuit of this passion influenced policies and helped to formulate and promote platforms that allow public and self-expression of Africans on issues that affect them. Many years after the founding and promotion of these platforms I am convinced that the creation of platforms for public discourse and participation is not enough to address the poverty level in African societies-hence, the birth of Appleberrys. In addition, within Africa, there are many merchants, vendors, sellers, and potential entrepreneurs who are looking for alternative affordable, accessible and sustainable methods of doing business.
