I gave up my Cyndi Lauper ticket for tonight for two reasons; 1) Joannas best friend from h.s. is home on leave; after this shes shipping out to somewhere she cant tell Joanna. Im sure they will enjoy the show. 2) The Palace appears to be problematic as far as getting me into it. I didnt want to arrive there and not be able to manage. The Palace is on a rather steep grade, we werent sure where it would be safe or even possible to park and get me out of the car. When I called the Palace about being HA, I was told that they had a couple of wheelchair spaces in the back, but, because of the age of the building they dont have to do anything more. It shouldnt be about have to but, rather, about whats right. And there are ways to become more accommodating without marring the integrity of the building.
