I get a chuckle when i watch a clip of the many videos on how to flatten your abs or have a tight butt and see the movements are becoming more creative. There is a trend of using gravity and the body as a weight to find ways to build core strength. This is cool.....these are the movements we do in Kai though our approach is different. We utilize play ( to expand the brain), exploration, and integration ( connecting the core to the extremities) so the body/mind/emotions and spirit all engage ( full power energy) AND the approach is from a functional place as well. The strength that comes is deep inner strength NOT dependent on societies view of beauty. Its connecting more into YOUR power, YOUR unique-ness. Trying to fit someone elses model of beauty ( you want 6 pack abs, why???) , putting yourself under scrutiny by a trainer who degrades and yells at you develops dependency, lack of self worth and powerless-ness. Dig deeper, have a practice that builds your worth, your strength from within........stop training yourself in weakness! #fitness #core #kaimoves #challenge #athlete #feelyouredge #realpower
