I get a kick out of people who say “common core” is the greatest thing since sliced bread; what I’d like to know is why do we need to turn our kids into Night of the Living Dead “Zombies”, who must all think – in lock step – like a bunch of freaking robots? You know the more I watch liberal/progressives go about “transforming” our country, into a “pathetically correct” version of its former self, the more confused I get; America is suppose to a country of “INDIVIDUALS”, each free to pursue their own version of the “American Dream”; but every time I turn around - or so it seems - liberal/progressive are launching yet another bleeding-heart “CAUSE”, that takes more of our individuality away, and in it’s place, are put more controls on our lives, to ensure we have no more, or no less, than everybody else, thus ensuring we all lead equally pathetic lives (based on what liberal/progressives say our lives should be; and how “f**ked-up” is that). I left the Democratic Party in 1996 because I saw – first hand – what Democrats were doing to my adopted home, Colorado; and I left Colorado in 2005, because the Republican Party (that I had became part of), proved to be just as corrupt, as the Democratic Party (even more so, from my personal perspective). And now that Democrats are driving even more nails in Colorados coffin, I wonder which state they will descend upon next, to try and destroy? It is said that misery loves company, and when it comes to liberal/progressives Democrats, I don’t think they’ll be happy until we’re all as miserable, as they seem to be (or so it would seem, because they’re never content to leave well enough, alone)…
