I get a lot of questions about how Marley is doing and what shes doing as far as Is she crawling yet? Babbling? Unfortunately with West Syndrome it steals a childs ability to do all the Normal things a baby does. Marley is still in the infant stage developmentally. When you lay her down she does not kick or raise her arms. She still has trouble supporting her head when tired, she is not sitting up. She does not coo or babble, she rarely smiles. Some people refer to it as zombie like ;( Its heartbreaking, but we are excited to see how she develops once off the ACTH. If any of you have questions, please feel free to ask. We ALL are learning as we go.
