I get a number of emails from childfree people that dont like the word, do like childLess less, but still wish there was another word than childfree - I agree that even childfree is a description with pronatalist roots... Here is an excerpt from one of the latest emails I received on this: What is a good word for people who dont want children that isnt childfree ...which I find bothersome because its still an alternative to the norm, and still in relation to children (a negative relation) rather than in relation to life itself (a positive relation). What ideas do you have? Please lets at least discuss. I say the person who can come up with an alternative word that the childfree community says Yes! to should get a reward!
