I get asked constantly if horses like working, trail riding, etc... The answer is complicated: do they like foolish people telling them what to do? Probably not. But do they like the feeling of having a job? Yes, most definitely. Animals can be fulfilled as well. While they may not like the work itself, and only be doing what they have been trained to do, theres a calm and quiet peace that all people and animals get from being useful.
